Forum Gold Terms

1. What Forum Gold Is

Forum Gold ("FG") is KillerRocks' platform virtual currency, currently valued at a fixed rate of 1 FG = $1.00 USD for purchase purposes. FG is used within the Platform to pay for identification certificate fees, Store purchases, promotional listing attributes (bold/italic/highlighted marketplace listings), tips, and other Platform features as they become available. These Terms supplement and are incorporated into the KillerRocks Terms of Service.

FG is not: legal tender, a currency, a security, a commodity, a deposit account, a gift card under state gift-card statutes, a demand note, or a store of value. FG does not earn interest, dividends, or any other return. FG is not insured or guaranteed by any bank, government agency, or the FDIC.

2. Nature of the License

When you acquire FG, you are purchasing a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use that FG within the Platform, subject to these Terms — you are not purchasing property, a commodity, or a right to a specific dollar amount held on your behalf. KillerRocks may hold FG balances in a general operating account and is not required to segregate or hold your FG balance in trust, escrow, or a dedicated account, except where required by applicable law.

3. Purchasing Forum Gold

• FG is purchased with real money via Stripe at the posted package price and rate, as described in the Purchase & Billing Terms.
• All FG purchases are final and non-refundable once credited to your account, except where required by applicable law or where a technical error resulted in incorrect crediting or a duplicate charge — contact support@killerrocks.com immediately in that case.
• KillerRocks may offer custom/variable-amount FG purchases within posted minimum and maximum limits, and may change pricing, packages, or limits at any time without affecting FG already purchased.
• Any promotional or bonus FG credited to your account without a corresponding real-money payment (e.g. contest prizes, staff-issued goodwill credits) is clearly non-cashable — see Section 6.

4. Using Forum Gold

FG may be spent within the Platform on identification certificate fees, Store purchases, marketplace listing promotions, and other features as offered from time to time. FG spent on a completed purchase or service is not refundable except under the applicable refund terms for that purchase type (see the Terms of Service §15 Refund & Return Policy).

FG can never be exchanged for, converted to, or otherwise linked to KR Coins (KRC) or any other in-game currency used in Rock Hunt or KR Gold Rush, and vice versa. The two currency systems are entirely separate; see the Game EULA.

5. Cashing Out Forum Gold

KillerRocks does not use an automated third-party payout processor for FG cashouts. Cashout requests are submitted through your Wallet and are reviewed and processed manually by KillerRocks staff. By submitting a cashout request, you agree to the following:

• Eligibility: Only FG balances actually purchased with real money may be cashed out. Promotional, bonus, or otherwise gratuitously-credited FG (see Section 6) is not eligible for cashout under any circumstance.
• One pending request at a time: You may not submit a new cashout request while a prior request is pending staff review.
• Staff discretion: KillerRocks may approve, delay, request additional verification for, or deny any cashout request at its sole discretion, including where fraud, chargeback history, Terms of Service violations, or suspicious account activity is suspected.
• Processing time: Approved cashouts are processed manually and are not subject to a guaranteed turnaround time, though KillerRocks will make commercially reasonable efforts to process requests promptly.
• Accurate payment information: You are solely responsible for providing accurate payout method and payment information. KillerRocks is not liable for funds sent to an incorrect destination due to information you provided.
• Taxes: You are solely responsible for any tax obligations, reporting, or withholding arising from a cashout. KillerRocks may request tax information (e.g. a completed Form W-9 or equivalent) before processing a cashout above a threshold required by law, and may issue applicable tax forms (e.g. Form 1099) where required.
• Fees: KillerRocks does not currently charge a cashout fee but reserves the right to introduce one with notice posted on this page and in your Wallet before it takes effect.

6. Promotional / Bonus FG

FG credited to your account other than through a real-money purchase (contest winnings, referral bonuses, staff-issued goodwill credit, compensation for a platform error, etc.) is usable within the Platform exactly like purchased FG, but is never eligible for cashout. KillerRocks may track purchased and bonus FG separately for this purpose and reserves the right to deduct or void bonus FG that was issued in error.

7. No Expiration, Dormancy, and Escheatment

FG balances do not expire solely due to the passage of time. If your account becomes permanently inactive or is closed, unused FG may become subject to state unclaimed-property (escheatment) laws; where required by such laws, KillerRocks will report and/or remit unclaimed balances to the appropriate state authority rather than retaining them.

8. Modification, Suspension, or Discontinuation of the FG System

KillerRocks reserves the right to modify the FG exchange rate, purchase packages, spending options, or cashout process at any time, with changes applying prospectively (not retroactively reducing an already-purchased balance's usable value within the Platform). If KillerRocks discontinues the FG system entirely, it will provide a reasonable window (no less than 30 days, except where infeasible due to legal or business emergency) for users to spend or request cashout of purchased FG balances before the system is shut down.

9. Fraud, Chargebacks, and Account Consequences

Initiating a credit card chargeback or payment dispute for an FG purchase after the FG has been credited to your account, without first contacting KillerRocks support to resolve the issue, is treated as attempted fraud. KillerRocks may deduct the disputed FG amount (and any FG or purchases made using it) from your account, suspend or terminate your account, and pursue collection of any resulting negative balance or associated fees.
