Forum Moderator Agreement

1. Nature of the Role — Volunteer, At-Will

Serving as a KillerRocks Moderator or Senior Moderator ("Moderator," "you") is a volunteer role. Unless KillerRocks agrees in a separate signed writing to pay specific compensation, no wages, salary, or payment of any kind is owed to you for moderation activity. You are not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of KillerRocks LLC, and nothing in this Agreement or your moderation activity creates an employment relationship, entitles you to employee benefits, or authorizes you to bind KillerRocks to any obligation.

This role is granted and may be revoked at the sole discretion of KillerRocks staff, at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may resign the role at any time by notifying staff.

2. Scope of Authority

Depending on your specific rank, you may be granted access to some or all of the following: viewing the moderation panel and abuse reports, muting users, removing or hiding posts and listings, suspending accounts, and viewing private messages for investigative purposes. You agree to use these powers only for their intended purpose — enforcing the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines — and never for personal advantage, to settle personal disputes, to harass another user, or to gain any commercial or competitive benefit on the Platform (including in the Marketplace, Store, or Collector Exclusive Gallery).

3. Confidentiality

In the course of moderating, you may be exposed to private messages, abuse reports, user account details, and internal staff discussions that are not visible to the general public. You agree to keep all such information strictly confidential, to use it only for legitimate moderation purposes, and never to disclose it to any third party or to any other user, except as required by law or expressly authorized by KillerRocks administration. This obligation survives the end of your Moderator role indefinitely.

4. Code of Conduct

• Apply the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines fairly and consistently, without favoritism toward friends, trading partners, or yourself.
• Never abuse moderation tools to gain a competitive advantage in the Marketplace, Store, forum reputation, or any game.
• Never share, sell, or trade access to your Moderator account or credentials.
• Disclose any conflict of interest (e.g., a report involving someone you have a personal or business relationship with) to senior staff and recuse yourself from acting on it.
• Escalate matters beyond your authority or comfort level (legal threats, self-harm disclosures, law-enforcement-relevant content) to Staff/Admin promptly rather than acting alone.

5. No Liability Transfer; Indemnification

KillerRocks does not carry insurance covering your individual conduct as a volunteer Moderator, and moderation actions you take are taken on behalf of, and at the direction of, KillerRocks' published rules. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KillerRocks LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your willful misconduct, gross negligence, or unauthorized use of moderation powers outside the scope of this Agreement. KillerRocks retains sole discretion to overrule, reverse, or discipline any moderation action.

6. Optional Recognition & Perks

KillerRocks may, at its sole discretion, provide non-cash recognition to active Moderators (rank badge, checkmark, forum flair, or similar). Any such recognition is a discretionary courtesy, not compensation, is not guaranteed, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice.

7. Termination

KillerRocks may revoke your Moderator status immediately for breach of this Agreement, abuse of moderation powers, misconduct, or conduct detrimental to the Platform or its users, with no notice required. Upon revocation, your access to moderation tools and any privileged information is immediately terminated, and your confidentiality obligations under Section 3 continue.

8. Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from this Agreement are subject to the binding arbitration and class-action waiver provisions of the KillerRocks Terms of Service, incorporated here by reference.

9. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and KillerRocks regarding your Moderator role. No oral representation supersedes this written Agreement.
