Best expedition to run first as a new player?

New player advice: start every run with Creek Valley. Here is why:
1. Lowest difficulty, consistent gold deposits
2. Unlocks with minimal Lab investment (Level 1-2)
3. The gold you earn funds your first Market and Museum upgrades
4. You learn the expedition loop without getting punished
Once you have Lab Level 3 and Market Level 2, switch to Desert Flats. The yield jump is enormous. Don't stay in Creek Valley too long - it soft caps your income.

I went straight to Mountain Foothills thinking I could handle it. Could not. Creek Valley first is mandatory.
