Gold Rush vs Rock Hunt - which game is more fun?

Hot take: KR Gold Rush has more strategic depth than Rock Hunt but Rock Hunt has better moment-to-moment gameplay. The click-to-fight combat in Rock Hunt is genuinely fun. Gold Rush's building progression is more intellectually engaging.
Both are good games and I think having both on the same site is smart - different moods, different games. But if I had to pick one to play for an hour it would be Rock Hunt. If I had to pick one to play for a week it would be Gold Rush.

Rock Hunt combat clicked for me when I realized you have to actually manage the enemy auto-attack timer. It's not just clicking.

Can we get a crossover event eventually? Rock Hunt players feed materials into Gold Rush somehow?

Gold Rush is more relaxing. Rock Hunt has me genuinely stressed in the late biomes.

This is a really fair breakdown actually. Rock Hunt scratches the action itch, Gold Rush scratches the strategy itch.
