Max expedition yield guide - what I learned from 200 runs
May 03, 2026 · 26 views
After running roughly 200 expeditions here's what I've learned about maximizing yield:
**1. Process before your next expedition.** Letting ore sit in transit is dead time.
**2. Lab before Market when gold is tight.** Processing speed scales harder than market value early.
**3. Actually follow the quest board.** It tells you exactly what to upgrade next and it's right.
**4. Don't ignore the Museum.** The passive income looks tiny early but compounds significantly.
**5. KRC packs are worth it if you're playing seriously.** The Explorer pack (1,500 KRC/$4.99) is the best value option.
**6. Upgrade Workers before long sessions.** Automated processing while you're in expeditions adds up.

Explorer pack is legit. Good price for the KRC.

Lab before Market is counterintuitive when you're starting but it really is the right call.

The quest board tip is the most underrated thing in the game. I ignored it for the first hour and wasted so much time.

Lab 6 hit different. You are absolutely right about that spike.

The passive income loop is what keeps me coming back to Gold Rush.

Lab first is the lesson everyone learns the hard way. Good of you to share.

Desert Flats is where the real money starts. Creek Valley is just the warmup.
