Rock Hunt beginner guide - what I wish I knew on day 1

After 40+ hours here is what I wish someone had told me: **1. Don't fight everything early.** Enemies will kill you at low level. Mine and run. **2. Upgrade Backpack first.** More inventory slots = more KRC per run. **3. Craft the Crystal Pickaxe ASAP.** Just Cave Crystal x3 - it's better than almost any store gear at the same level. **4. Rest at the Campfire before every expedition.** Free HP. Never skip it. **5. Read the Craft Bench recipes.** Crafted gear scales with your level and beats store-bought more often than not. **6. Don't die in the Arctic or Crystal Caverns.** The KRC death penalty hurts bad in late zones.
