Venom Blade vs Crystal Pickaxe - which mainhand wins?

Comparing two crafted mainhands:
- **Venom Blade** (Snake Fang ×2 + Venom Sac ×1) - uncommon, fast, crits in combat
- **Crystal Pickaxe** (Cave Crystal ×3) - rare, ore yield bonus, slower
I'm at level 18. The blade feels better in combat zones but the pickaxe clearly wins at resource nodes. Which one are you running?

I run the Scorpion Sensor in my mainhand for node detection. Lets me find hidden nodes that others miss completely.

Crystal Pickaxe all day. The ore yield bonus compounds over a long session - you end up with 30-40% more KRC.

Both. Carry blade into enemy-heavy zones, switch to pickaxe at mining nodes. No penalty for swapping.

Depends entirely on your build. If you took combat skills go blade. If you took mining skills go pickaxe.
